Patricia Ann Johnson passed away on January 24, 2021.  She worked for many years with Des Moines Osteopathic Medicine & Surgery.  After retirement, she worked for the Des Moines police department as a school crossing guard.  She was also a lifelong member of Maple St. Baptist Church, devoting her time to numerous ministries.  Patricia was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved baking and ceramics.  She also had a green thumb which she inherited from her mother.  Patricia also loved traveling with her husband, Ernie.  Preceding her in death are her parents, Carrie and Gilbert Randle, sisters, Dorothy Clinton, Joan Greene, Mildred Ewing; brothers, Paul and Gilbert Jr. Randle.  Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Antonette M. Johnson, Rita J. Dixon; granddaughter, Monique D. Holbert, great-granddaughter, Jayah G. Gandy; brothers, Thom and Robert Randle; sister, Christina High as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
