Obituary

Jamal Eric Rankins  was born March 24, 2015 to Ericka Rankins and Torrie Willey in Iowa. He attended Power of the Word Church with his family. Jamal loved spending time with his family, especially dancing and watching t.v. with his many siblings; his favorite shows were PJ Masks, Power Rangers, and Spiderman. He was an outgoing and intelligent kid. He always had a positive attitude and excelled at everything he did. Jamal was a loving and caring boy, whose smile could brighten anyone’s day.

Jamal made his transition to eternity December 20, 2020.

Jamal is preceded in death by his great-great grandmother, Lillian Rankins. He is survived by his parents, Ericka Rankins and Torrie Willey; his seven siblings: Malyah Rankins, Jakel Rankins, VyeJayah Rankins, Ericka Rankins, Jamil Winfield, Javeon Rankins, and MaRyan Rankins; grandparents, Machele Rankins and Terry Young, Sr., Linda Mister and Cleotis Mister.
