A Sisters Prayer
My dearest Sister, I look back at your life as a gift from God and now that He wants you back, I have no right to complain. A sister is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost. A cluster of memories sprinkled with tears, wishing God had spared you a few more years. Tenderly we treasure the past, with memories that will always last. Your parting has come and all our hears are broken, our sister gone with words unspoken. Never selfish, always loving and kind, these are your memories that you left behind. Time may pass and fade away, but memories of you will always remain. In God’s care you rest above, in our hearts you rest with our love. Words are few, thoughts are deep, and memories of you we will always keep. There is a place in my heart, that is yours alone, a part of my life that no one else can own. My tears in my eyes will wipe away, but the love in my heart for you, little sister is here to stay.
Eternal love, your big sis, MarrGenea Berry
