Patricia Wilbert

Patricia Wilbert passed away on 10/17/2018.

Patricia Ellen Wilbert was born on April 5, 1938 to Ralph and Blanch Jackson, in Des Moines, IA. She was educated in the Des Moines Public School District and graduated from East High School.

Patricia professed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, and was recently baptized as a member of Greater Love Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Superintendent Jerald Woods. Patricias kind spirit earned her the high distinction of being named Church Mother.

Patricia put her loving spirit and work ethic to use in her chosen vocation of health care worker. You could say taking care of the sick came naturally for Patricia. She also believed in enjoying the fruits of her labor. Shopping from store to store and catching deals online was a favorite past time of Patricias. She also liked to spend time doing crossword puzzles. Above all she never passed up an opportunity to spend time with her children, grandchildren and her plants.

Mother Wilbert passed away on October 17, 2018 at the age of 80yrs old. She was greeted on the other side by her parents; husband, Ray Wilbert; son, Jack Murray Jr.; siblings, Barbara Jean, Clemtime, Velda, Ralph Jr., Donald and Milton.

Left to cherish Mother Wilberts memory are her daughters, Crystal Murray, Monica Williamson-Murray, and Michelle Fisher; 16 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren; very special niece, Velda Scott, very dear friend, Ruth Black and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
