Miko Andres Merical was born on August 1, 1995 in Des Moines IA to Christina Kay Decker and Barry Joe Merical. Always full of life, light and artistic energy, from a small child, it was easy to see who was going to be the performer in the family. Miko was an avid student who thrived in education, and was still a student up until he was called home. Always the artistic one, he was an excellent singer, guitarist, and songwriter who would eventually start a band that had many followers everywhere he toured. Wearing many hats, he was very fond of graphic design, which gave way to him apprenticing as a tattoo artist. Miko was beautiful, loving, a free spirit, independent and a very giving person who always had a smile and hugs for whoever he came in contact with. He loved food, family, and friends as much as he loved the outdoors, was very in touch with nature and the beauty of the summer months. Miko was a lover of beautiful things, and all these things he delighted in, there was nothing he delighted in more than sharing it with those he loved and those that loved him. He will be missed by the many lives he touched.
