Kenneth Quinn

Kenneth A. Quinn passed away July 4, 2021.

Kenneth Aaron Quinn was born to Larry Eugene Quinn Sr. and Denise Marcel (Brooks) Quinn on May 12, 1987, in Des Moines, Iowa. He was raised and educated in thearea, graduating from Hoover High School.

Ken excelled in athletics, and was a competitive swimmer while at Hoover. He also ran track. Following his primary education, Kenneth continued his studies at Des Moines Area Community College where he graduated with a degree in Computer Science.

For most of his working years, Kenneth was a forklift operator and worked for utility and construction companies. In his free time, Ken was a “gamer” and loved to play video games. He was also fond of writing raps and doing musical collaborations in the studio. He loved to hang out with his friends and draw in the anime style. Ken also enjoyed model cars, all things “Iron Man” from the Marvel films,spending time with his family and “Princeton” the dog.

On July 4, 2021, Kenneth Aaron Quinn stepped from time intoeternity.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his grandparents, DeArmour and Kenneth Brooks Sr., Gerald and Dora James Sr., Norma Mae Fountain; Uncles, Larry (Stump) Brooks Sr., Alvin Walker Sr., Michael James, Herschel Quinn; aunts, Sharon Kay Barquat, Carolyn Oliver; hisbrother, Antonio Quinn and his significant other, Indira Hodzic.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Xaeli Denise Quinn;parents, Larry Eugene and Denise Marcel Quinn; siblings, Rocquel Quinn and Larry Quinn, Jr.; sister in-law, Laura Quinn and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and close friends.
