Jeannette Marie Dudley Shade was born in Des Moines, IA to Edward and Betty (Griffin) Dudley on May 10, 1953. She was educated in the Des Moines Public School system where she graduated from Des Moines Technical High School.

Jeannette married Eugene Shade 47 years ago and she became a mother and a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved her grandchildren and animals. During her free time, she enjoyed playing cards, going to church and cooking. Jeannette was a very caring person who always provided a listening ear and sound advice. She was able to soothe the hurt and guide her family in the way they should go. Jeannette loved her family and was very family oriented.

December 9th, 2020, Jeannette stepped from time into eternity. She was greeted on the other side by her mother, Betty Dudley and her daughter, Lisa Little.

Left to mourn Jeannettes passing are her husband, Deacon Eugene Shade; her sons, Brandon, Myron and Timothy Shade; her siblings, Winafred (Johnny) Davis, Robin (Leslie) Cobbins, Teri Watson, Donnetta Watson, Calvin Henderson, Shirlene, Carl, Kenneth, James, Carol, Lisa and Cherie McClain; step daughter Eugenia Fletcher; her grandchildren, Myron Jr. Brandon, Jr, Kybray , Khibresha, Khisheka and Khiesha Little, Anaiah and Amariah Woodard and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.Visitation
