Chantel Vaughn

Chantel Marie Vaughn was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa April 25, 1975 to George Brown and Yvonne Pope. Chantel attended the Des Moines Public Schools System and graduated from North High School. She went on to further her education at Des Moines Area Community College.

Chantel was a women of God, who spent time reading Gods word. She was a free spirited person. She loved to listen to music, dance and get her groove on. Chantel was a great mother, a good friend and a loving sister. She had a unique laugh that would brighten up your day and any room. Chantel never had a bad day nor could anyone or anything upset her. She loved spending time with her children. Chantel had an eye for interior decorating. She was always changing and updating her dcor with new furniture. Chantel was a makeup artist. All you had to do was say lets go and she would grab her lipstick and eye shadow and she was ready to go.

The Lord called Chantel Marie Vaughn home April 19, 2022 at the age of 46. Chantel leaves behind to cherish her memories, her children, Chaniel Pope, Janessa Vaughn; siblings, Donavin Pope, Donte Brown, Amber Pope (in law), Gabrielle Law, Kiya Law and Kendra Law; grandchild Michael Pope; cousins, Lashae Ewing and Nikki Davis; long time friend Selina Shorter and a host of family and friends.
