Catherine Turner

Catherine Turner passed away on June 25,2022.

Catherine Turner was born in Sequin, Texas on September 25, 1942 to Zelda Walker and Marjorie Lee. She was educated and graduated from Phillis Wheatley High School In Sequin, Texas.

Catherine was a member of Southern Trinity Church of God in Christ in Texas.

Catherine was referred to as a "Firecracker" she didn't take any stuff off anyone. She was a housewife, who became a widow early and ended up raising her children alone. They meant the world to her. Her goal was to keep her family together despite adversities. She lived a good and full life.

Catherine enjoyed singing so, she took up singing lessons to achieve and grasp a musical style, performance techniques and her delivery. She didn't mind letting you hear her beautiful voice. Catherine also took Karate lessons and enjoyed showing off her karate skills.

Catherine Departed this life on June 25, 2022 at the age of 79. She is preceded in death by Norman Turner (Husband).

Catherine is survived by her children, Michael Walker, Mikona Turner, Rosetta Turner and Norma Broussard; 10 Siblings; 14 Grandchildren; 16 Great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends
