Byron Stewart was born May 30, 1954 in Clinton MO, to Ralph Stewart and Velma Avery Stewart.
Byron enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He loved telling stories and had so many of them to share. He especially enjoyed when his grandson R.J. would take him fishing. Byron was very talented, he enjoyed etching glass, playing harmonica and writing poetry. Byron spent most of his adult life in physical fitness and was extremely proud when he hit his max 675 lbs. in squats. But, his favorite past time was eating; he loved going out for dinner. After fighting several health problems, on Dec 13th at the age of 67, God called him home.
Waiting to Welcome him to the other side were his parents Ralph and Velma Stewart, His brothers Tony and Craig Stewart ,His uncle James Davis and great grandson Ra’ Kai Dixon.
He Leaves memories with his children, Montez Shortridge, Zanetta Rivers, Charles Rivers, Troy Powell and Jeremiah Canada. He also leaves behind his grandchildren R.J. Dixon, Maryan Rankins, Rayshawn Hamilton, and a host of additional grand and great grandkids along with a brother, Thad Stewart; several nieces and nephews and life long best friend, Richard Williams.
